In my little Southern Oregon Valley there is the thing called “Stagnant Air”, in a non-scientific nut-shell it means that the fog and cold hangs around a lot longer than it would in a more geographically open environment. It can keep entire days foggy and leave the frost on the plants until well after noon. That is what happened to day and I got a few pictures on my walk to the dentist a little before and a little after noon. While “Stagnant Air” may sounds rather disgusting and I’ll admit when I first heard of it I thought it had something to do with air pollution, it actually makes for a lovely winter wonderland in my little valley where we don’t get a lot of snow.

All I need is a lamppost and James Mcavoy running around in a red scarf!
